MWR Charts Gossip

This week brought a new number one to the alternative Top20 as metalrockers Asylum Bedlam made a strong jump from 14th position last week this weeks number one with their melodic hardrock single “For Those Who Will Understand”.

The top5 positions were decided in a tight battle between Black Sheriff, former leaders Leisure Class and the new entry from addictive indierockers Redlight with “Whats Going On?”. Last weeks number1 Italobrothers dancy megahit “Stamp On The Ground” lost signifant ground and ended up in seventh position trailing newcomers Tallowate.

Manchester punkrockers Goldblade jumped directly in at number 9, just behind Richard Snow, whilst the crazy german surfers in the Hawaiians closed off the top10 with “Hula On Mars”

The intelligent lyrics and strong singer writing traditions are maintained by Elva Snow (Stars), the banbury indierockers from The Keyz (Dont Let Go) and sublime vocalist Tiffany Apan (Run Away And Hide).

In the harder end of town we find hardhitting metal from original acts such as Tiberius Project (Total Madness) and danish Errorgod (Darkest Hatred), as well as a despicable assortment of energetic punk malarky like Goldblades “Toxic City F.C.” and The Sheckies “I Need Xanax”.
